Summary
Neo-Classicalism is a harsh form of art recalling the grand style of ancient Greece and Rome. Neoclassicalism brought interest in the 'classical thought' especially in the French and American Revolutions.It was especially affected by Rococo and Baroque style. It portrayed serious subjects since artists and critics began to believe that art was supposed to help people.
